What this is

When a patient has a scan in the emergency room, the radiologist sometimes notices something that is not urgent but still needs a follow-up scan later, like a small spot on the lung. These findings are easy to lose track of once the patient goes home.

A hospital's follow-up team uses this software to make sure each one gets followed up. The software keeps the list, who owns each case, the due dates, the escalations and the evidence. Hospital staff make every call and every decision, and only a hospital employee can close a case.

Everything here is fictional. Pick a role to look around; you can switch at any time. Your changes reset every night.

Choose a role

A 3-minute tour

You play three hospital employees in turn. Each role is one click to enter; button names below are shown in quotes.

  1. Enter as Care coordinator. Open "Administrative work", then open the overdue case "1.6 cm left thyroid nodule on neck CT". Two unanswered calls are already on record. Record a call that reached the patient: under "Record hospital-performed administrative communication", set "Hospital verification result" to "Verified by hospital process" and "Administrative outcome" to "Reached for administrative coordination", then click "Record hospital communication". Finish with "Record task completion".
  2. Switch role to Hospital supervisor. Open "Escalations", open an escalation that is still open, and click "Record hospital resolution". Supervisors see a case reference rather than clinical details: each role sees only what its job needs.
  3. Switch role to Closure approver. Open "Administrative work", then the case whose next action is "Review reported follow-up imaging before closure". Like the supervisor, the approver sees a case reference rather than the finding. Click "Open hospital closure review", then "Record hospital approval". The case closes. Only a hospital employee can close a case; the software never does it on its own.

Optional: the 9 mm lung nodule case shows a case held up by two escalations until the hospital resolves them.

If a button is missing, someone may already have done that step. Everything resets every night.
